Back when I was in elementary school, we celebrated two presidential birthdays: Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, on February 12th and February 22nd, respectively.
But in 1971 they got combined into a mid-Feb holiday weekend to celebrate all presidents (including a few who should not be celebrated at all).
When my father was at art college in NYC, mid-last-century, he pen & inked these sketches and sold prints for a quarter, pocket money for egg creams.
Thanks there has been an intentional down grading of the heroes of the nation for political correctness.
Looking forward to your cherry tree depiction. (smile)
