Post-White House Retirement?
Two weeks ago I reported that when Joe and Jill Biden vacationed in the Santa Ynez Valley late last month it was to scout for a future home.
I’ve since learned from two additional sources that the Bidens are in the process of purchasing a sprawling ranch that belonged to Olivia Newton John, who passed away two years ago.
The 12-acre estate, listed at $8,965,000 (that’s a lot of Ukrainian and/or Chinese sponduliks), is situated along the Santa Ynez River at 3930 Indian Way.
Update: Carey Kendall, the broker for this property, emailed me with the following message:
Please be aware that this rumor that has been afloat is NOT true. This is my listing and there is no truth to a rumor they are buying my listing.
The Santa Ynez Valley is largely conservative and does not welcome him. Nobody wants him there .
And We ALL are multimillionaires, with Our share of Our planet's wealth held in "trust" and so...
