Autumn color in Ketchum extends from fall foliage to golden sunlight to window displays in many of the mom & pop boutiques that abound. It is an easy, happy place.
As my old buddy Georg (no e) from Monaco Cool says, “Unlike Aspen, people here don’t leave the price tags on their mink coats.”
Georg, lucky guy, has his cabin back in the woods, a lifestyle to which I aspire.
For dinner he recommended Vintage where the Idaho trout is oh so fine.
The evening before, Papa Hemingway’s favorite haunt, The Sawtooth Club.
A stroll around town come nightfall produced an array of imagery and inspiration.
And a hearty Idaho breakfast at The Kneadery before onward travel to Boise.
