“Two Russian families in Monaco obtain passports thanks to a counterfeiter declared dead

“On the basis of a fraudulent filling made from a dozen tampered acts, and thanks to a counterfeiter declared dead, 10 Russian individuals became Monegasque.

“Never seen before in Monaco.

“Thanks to false documents, a dozen Russians managed to obtain the Monegasque nationality and passport. 

“Never had the state services been deceived in this way. Ten nationalities, almost as many Monegasque passports and two family booklets were issued between 2018 and 2020 to two Russian families, on the basis of fraudulent acts and a totally invented family tree, linking the criminals to the illustrious Aureglia family.

“A system cleverly orchestrated by Dimitri K., who would suddenly die - on a date that remains to be determined - on the Ukrainian front, in Donbass.

"A useful death" and "a death of opportunity" for the Public Prosecutor's Office, questioning the authenticity of the death certificate. A request rejected by the criminal court therefore puts an end to public action against it.”
