Ultimately, I found the Land Rover Defender too truck-like, claustrophobic, uncomfortable and, because it's such a gas-guzzler, could get only about 220 miles out of a 20-gallon tank, which meant stopping twice for gas during road trips. In my opinion, overrated for the price. Delighted to see it gone.
