“Who is Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle?”
By now we know the U.S. Secret Service fucked up BIG-TIME yesterday. Everything from not noticing a sniper on a nearby rooftop to taking too much time to hustle former President Trump from the scene.
Amateur hour… or something worse?
Not only was Cheatle appointed by Biden to be his Secret Service director, she also served on Joe’s detail when he was vice president.
We know that the Department of Justice has been politicized and coopted into lawfare by officials loyal to Joe.
Is it possible, under Cheatle’s woke (more like sleepy) leadership, the Secret Service has also been politicized?
“Secret Service Chief Kimberly Cheatle Facing Mounting Calls to Resign after ‘Total Security Breakdown’ at Trump Rally” (NY Post)
Critics claim Cheatle dropped the ball on security measures at Saturday’s Trump rally — saying she has been too focused on woke “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” policies, such as making sure the department is 30 percent women by 2030, to take care of the agency’s more crucial business.
Two former high-ranking FBI officials told The Post after Saturday’s shooting that from what they can tell, the Secret Service under Cheatle completely blew it Friday.
“It was a total security breakdown from start to finish,” said former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker. “From the total security plan for the rally to the reaction once the shots rang out.”
If you counted down — and I did — it was over 2 minutes to get him off the podium,” Swecker said. “The Secret Service’s job is to, No. 1, prevent this from happening, and No. 2, get him out of the danger zone in seconds. Two minutes is a lifetime. If there had been a secondary shooter, they would have finished him off.”
Excuse me for wondering if resignation is too lenient for the Secret Service director.
Because it feels like Cheatle cheated.
“Calls Grow for RFK Jr. to get Secret Service Protection” (The Hill)
RFK, Jr. should have been provided Secret Service protection many months ago.
Instead, Joe Biden was so appalled by Kennedy’s audacity to oppose him, he petulantly denied protection. A political decision, not a sensible one, given what happened to RFK Jr.’s father and uncle.
The larger issue: Joe trashed the democracy he purports to protect when he allowed the DNC to quash political opponents within his party and refuse primaries.

RFK, Jr. warranted USSS protection, like other candidates, 120 days before 5 November.
Tuesday, 9 July 2024 was the date.
People/media erroneously complained for months ahead of time, but that's the way it is and that's the way it has been.
With things the way they are, private security might've been a better choice anyway.
