The Kameleon Bleary-eyed! Alec Baldwin Pig-eyed! John Kerry Clown-pied! Putin Mortified! FBI Deep Fried!
This post appeared earlier today in Santa Barbara Current.
“Kamala Harris advisor shares behind-the-scenes metric showing the $1 billion campaign was doomed” (Daily Mail)
Of course it was doomed. The Kameleon had no message and no substance. And her campaign frivolously wasted tens of millions of donor money on celebrity hangs and personal luxuries for the candidate.
She was Nero fiddling while Rome burned.
According to this news item, the Dems were lying about everything—especially polls—until the very end. Which sums up the Biden Administration, even before its inception, when its stooges lied about Hunter’s laptop—and covered up Biden family corruption that might have scuttled Joe as the nominee or lost him the election to Trump.
Honestly, my preference is to not write another word about a cackling Kameleon. But she continues to beg for attention.
“I know this is an uncertain time,” she told viewers. “I’m clear-eyed about that.”
Or maybe not…
“‘Is She Drunk’: Kamala Harris’ Emotional Video After US Election Defeat Sparks Concerns” (News 18)
“President Biden pardons his son Hunter Biden” (NBC News)
Yet another lie: Joe said he would not use his authority to pardon Hunter, yet just did anyway, claiming his son had been “singled out.”
Anyone currently serving a prison term for violating federal gun laws or evading federal tax has the right to ask, What kind of country is this? A country, wrote George Orwell, in which “…some animals are more equal than others.”
Biden also said the prosecution of his son was “selective and unfair.”
Jeez, that accurately depicts the prosecutions of Donald Trump! (About which Biden famously said, “I believe in the justice system,” which, clearly, he does not.)
Thank the universe we’ll be done with Joe in seven weeks
But maybe we’re already done with Joe, who has proven himself a disgrace to the nation…
“Biden seen holding anti-Israel book during Black Friday shopping excursion” (Fox News)
While Joe goes on vacation (again), world leaders are bypassing the White House and flocking to Mar-a-Lago.
“Trump has dinner with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Mar-a-Lago” (CNN)
Leaving a Florida hotel in West Palm Beach on Saturday, Trudeau said: “It was an excellent conversation.”
“Furious Americans slam Hollywood's 'out of touch and snobby' liberal elite after first Alec Baldwin then Sharon Stone brand millions 'ignorant and uneducated' for voting in Trump” (Daily Mail)
Alec (“Bullet? What bullet?”) Baldwin and Sharon Stone have it ass backwards.
Surveys certainly show that education is not what it once was.
Why is that?
Because too many activists masquerading as educators placed an emphasis on identity politics e.g., critical race theory, instead of a core curriculum of academic disciplines.
And who did that?
The Dems adopted a “progressive” woke joke, leading to the ignorance spouted about by Sharon Stone and Alec Baldwin, then exacerbated by contemporary cultural claptrap spewed by Hollyweird celebs and their “politically correct” scripts.
The good news: Things are now changing as…
“Walmart dumps ‘diversity, equity and inclusion’ in woke crackdown” (The Telegraph)
The world’s biggest retailer “has announced it will no longer sell books about transgenderism that are marketed towards children.”
I don’t believe in censorship. But I also don’t believe questioning one’s gender should be pushed on children.
“DEI is dead. The establishment media just doesn’t want you to know it” (The Telegraph)
Dead as a doornail. And the establishment media is in tatters, too.
And here’s partly why:
The New York Times now refers to female athletes as “non-transgender women.”
Litter wonder Martina Navratilova posts on X:
NYT- you stink. We are women, not NOT TRANSGENDER WOMEN. Just WOMEN will do in the future.
A stink worse than a decomposing skunk among sewage.
“Migrant Caravans Not Reaching Border” (Newsweek)
These words declared by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum after President-elect Donald Trump threatened a 25% tariff on goods from Mexico if her country does not take steps to prevent Mexicans from illegally entering the USA.
“With Trump Returning and Hezbollah Weakened, Iran Strikes a Conciliatory Tone” (NYTs)
As Iran faces domestic and foreign challenges, its bellicose rhetoric on the United States and Israel has given way to signs that it wants less confrontation.
The world is already shifting gears and becoming a safer place. (Elon Musk’s message to Teheran from Trump conveyed through Iran’s UN ambassador maybe hit home.)
“Kerry suggests Africans without electricity must pick 'the right kinds of electricity'“ (Fox News)
Former “Climate Czar” John Kerry (barf) has become Climate Clown.
(He always was something of a buffoon—but now it’s official.)
“Trump threatens 100% tariff on the BRIC bloc of nations if they act to undermine US dollar” (AP)
His threat was directed at countries in the so-called BRIC alliance, which consists of Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
These nations desire to cripple the US dollar’s dominance in financial markets.
Trump’s stance represents leadership at its most unabashed: Looking after the interests of America and Americans.
“Trump Border Czar Tom Homan Warns Denver Mayor Against Resisting Deportation Efforts” (NY Post)
Denver Mayor Mike Johnston says he’s not afraid of going to jail for resisting federal efforts to deport illegal immigrants.
Border Czar Tom Homan responds, “Me and the Denver mayor, we agree on one thing. He’s willing to go to jail; I’m willing to put him in jail.”
Explains Homan: "It’s a felony if you knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien from immigration authorities. It is also a felony to impede a federal law enforcement officer. So if he don’t help, that’s fine, he can get the hell out of the way, but we’re gonna go do the job.”
Same goes for Goofy Gav in Cali.
And speaking of Gruesome…
“Gavin Newsom and his wife Jennifer's Thanksgiving Day message to Californians spectacularly backfires... and everyone is saying the same thing” (Daily Mail)
Here’s what they’re saying/posting: “How’s slumming in your $9.1 million mansion? Where did the $ come from? You have no business or accounting sensibilities so was it the Cartels? The Gettys? Money laundering from the $24 billion in missing homeless funds?”
“Russia has launched a ‘staggeringly reckless campaign of sabotage’ in Europe, says MI6 chief” (The Telegraph)
A secret war is taking place, largely in Europe, with Britain’s MI6 and French DGSE on one side (presumably enhanced by the CIA) and Russia’s SVR on the other.
“We cherish our heritage of covert action, which we keep alive today in helping Ukraine resist the Russian invasion,” revealed MI6 Chief Sir Richard Moore.
He then went on to provide a great quote on the difference between democracy and authoritarian regimes: “Russia should avoid the classic error of the authoritarian state, which confuses the splendidly irreverent clash and thunder of democracy with weakness and irresolution. Our democracy is our strength.”
MI6, of course, is aware that nothing riles Putin more than revelations about his private life and the whereabouts of his children.
Hence, a slew of articles (psychological warfare) this past week on that very subject…
“The many lovers – and love children – of Vladimir Putin” (The Telegraph)
The German teacher, the cleaner and ‘Russia’s most flexible woman’ – inside the president’s close personal circle.
“Putin’s daughter ‘living in Paris under a pseudonym’” (The Times)
Elizaveta Krivonogikh, who uses the family name of a deceased ally of the president, is the daughter of a woman who allegedly had an affair with him.
Russia 'loses 2,000 troops in 24 hours in its biggest death toll for a single day since Ukraine invasion began' (Daily Mail)
Moscow's shocking losses come as Vladimir Putin's army seeks to seize as much territory as possible ahead of Donald Trump’s imminent return to the White House.
Putin cares not one iota about the hundreds of thousands of Russian lives lost so far in his quest to conquer Ukraine. You can be certain he cares even less about British or American lives. Don’t believe for one moment he is not capable of dispatching missiles in our direction.
“Putin says he does not believe Trump is safe after assassination attempts” (Reuters)
Putin cited "the absolutely uncivilized methods used to battle against Trump, up to and including an assassination attempt - and more than once. By the way,” added Putin, “In my opinion, he is not safe now.”
Mainstream media calls Putin’s remarks “bizarre.” However, one may presume Russia’s foreign intelligence service conducted an investigation and made its own discoveries about the mysterious Thomas Crooks—the whose phones records have still not been disclosed.
“Zelensky: I’ll give up Ukrainian territory to Russia to achieve peace” (The Telegraph)
President says for first time that his country could cede land temporarily in exchange for protection of a ‘Nato umbrella.
Sounds like a reasonable offer. But that’s partly why Putin invaded Ukraine, to prevent it from joining NATO. And Ukraine still does not meet NATO’s anti-corruption standards. Which makes one wonder how well we track all the moolah and munitions we send there—and in whose Swiss bank accounts some such funds land. Especially when the Pentagon failed its 7th audition a row and cannot account for $886 billion.
“Butterball Employees Implicated in Allegations of Inappropriate Sexual Acts with Turkeys” (Riverfront Times)
And how was your Thanksgiving?
The reason I’ve included this item is because of its passage advising readers to think critically about the journalism they encounter:
Whenever you see a headline that instantly raises your blood pressure, remember that this is exactly what the headline was designed to do. Then, run through the following list of questions.
Who benefits from this information being out in the world? Is there a company that stands to profit from the information you’re reading? Is there a rival to the entity being implicated in the story?
How reliable is the source? Is the news outlet owned by a major corporation that thrives on keeping you angry? Do they have partnerships with organizations that benefit from your attention being focused on this topic?
What biases might be at play? After checking the source’s biases, think critically: what’s the benefit of trusting the information you’re reading?
Which brings me to…
“MSNBC Loses Almost HALF its Viewers in Stunning Post-Election Ratings Report” (MEDIAite)
Mostly due to…
“How Rachel Maddow is dragging MSNBC down” (Daily Telegraph)
She is now out-viewed by Bob’s Burgers.
When I was at a hotel in Pittsburgh six weeks ago, I had the misfortune of tuning into MSNBC. Their “reporting” is rabid.
Little wonder this “news”outlet is up for sale.
The good news: Elon Musk has expressed interest (perhaps comically) in buying it.
Mainstream media likes to propagandize a pretend position that purchasing Twitter crippled Musk financially. Truth is, Elon is richer than ever before. Like all of his business decisions, Musk’s purchase of Twitter will eventually be understood as pure genius.
“Trump nominates loyalist Kash Patel to serve as FBI director” (NBC News)
In its highly biased reporting, NBC News finds fault with this passage in Patel’s memoir, Government Gangsters:
“The Deep State is an unelected cabal of tyrants who think they should determine who Americans can and cannot elect as president, who think they get to decide what the president can and cannot do, and who believe they have the right to choose what the American people can and cannot know.”
Rings true to my ears, though I prefer the term Institutional Washington. From a national security standpoint, this has its roots at the CIA, which potentially staged Gary Powers’ U-2 spy incident to disrupt President Eisenhower's scheduled powwow with Russia’s Khrushchev, then later obstructed President Kennedy’s interest in warming the Cold War to the point where JFK felt compelled to use a non-Institutional Washington backchannel to correspond with Khrushchev. (And that was the end of JFK.) Witnessing these events from retirement, former President Harry Truman expressed regret for ever having created that agency.
NBC also opines that although “the current FBI director, Christopher Wray, was scheduled to complete his ten-year term in 2027,” he will now be shown the door (along with his top tier officials).
Anyone surprised?
Wray allowed heavily armed FBI agents to raid Mar-a-Lago, stormtrooper-style, and sift through the former First Lady’s lingerie. And also allowed his Bureau, during the run-up to the 2020 election, to coerce social media giants into suppressing/deleting all social media posts on Hunter Biden’s laptop full knowing the laptop genuinely belonged to Hunter and was not Russian disinformation.
Both actions underscore Kash Patel’s point about “Deep State” politicization.
Truth is, even before the FBI allowed itself to be used in lawfare and manipulating social media, it desperately begged an overhaul of its obesely bloated bureaucracy.
The greater the angst about Kash Patel among Bureau-crappers (and the mainstream hacks to whom they leak such angst), the greater a need it demonstrates for Patel’s leadership.
An old friend/former CIA official, who applauds Patel’s appointment, emailed me: “FBI is an infestation that needs fumigation. CIA also. And DoJ. And the Pentagon.”
And finally…
“Ellen DeGeneres’s UK mansion ‘floods’ just weeks after she fled the US ‘due to Donald Trump’s presidential win’” (NY Post)
The 43-acre grounds are now underwater after the River Thames broke its banks
Their dreams are drenched.
