“Gov. Josh Shapiro alleges in memoir that Kamala Harris’ team asked him if he had ever been an Israeli agent” (ABC News)
Ah yes—the moment has arrived.
Gavin, Kamala: meet the Democratic Party’s next presidential nominee.
Gav, maybe you get to ride shotgun with Josh Shapiro. But don’t count on it. California will vote Dem whether Gav is on the ticket or not. Josh doesn’t need hairspray; he’ll want someone from a swing state.
As for Team Kamala: Asking Josh Shapiro whether he’s an Israeli agent isn’t just politically tone-deaf, it’s outright discriminatory—and no different than sidelining Pete Buttigieg as a running mate because he’s gay.
Who was running her campaign—the Three Stooges’ Diversity Committee?
And where’s all the moola coming from?

In any case, Malibu is not the sweetest ‘hood anymore.
I had the misfortune of recently visiting Malibu Country Mart and discovering, due to natural disasters and their aftermath, what was once a sweet zone is now a ghost town. ‘Twas empty and sad the week before Christmas. And the restaurant we dined at, once a gem, is now mere costume jewelry.
Well done, Gavin and LA Mayor Karen Bass, for screwing up fire protection and adhering to persnickety, time-consuming rebuild permits despite promising a streamlined process.
“Gavin Newsom humiliated after he is DENIED entry to Trump’s Davos clubhouse for mocking ‘boring speech’... as White House sends him X-rated message” (Daily Mail)
That message:
Gavin and his motley crew of Dems don’t know how to recognize a negotiation when they see one.
And now they’re disappointed the U.S. military won’t attack Greenland?
Go figure.
“Axelrod criticizes Newsom’s ‘self-puffery’ at Davos” (The Hill)
Even senior Dem strategists such as David Axelrod are tiring of Gav’s tedious tactics: stalking Trump across the Alps with Soros Junior in tow, then preening himself from the sidelines (after getting embarrassingly sidelined).
And while Gav frolics in Switzerland…
“California’s massive fraud is way worse than Minnesota’s — totals $7 billion” (NY Post)
Starting with the train to nowhere.
Ultimately, what blue states are rebelling against is not so much anti-ICE but fear of exposure and prosecution from widespread corruption.
“Al Gore warns of ‘climate policy recession’ at Davos” (The Tennessean)
Hey Al, preach us your climate claptrap after you give up flying private and laying carbon flatulence into the atmosphere.
As always, hypocrisy prevails.
Speaking of which, it appears…

“Globalization Is Dead” (National Security Journal)
Eulogy for Globalism
Here lies Globalism, sleek and sure,
A doctrine sold as destiny’s cure.
It promised peace through open gates,
Smooth supply chains, converging fates.
It spoke in panels, charts, and plans,
In Davos halls and first-class vans.
Borders blurred, flags grew light,
Markets hummed through day and night.
It said, Efficiency is king,
Local loss is worth the swing.
If jobs went east or vanished clean,
That was “progress”—hard, but lean.
They swore they served the common good,
Spoke soft of all the neighborhoods.
But while they preached of shared success,
They billed the gains to one address.
Behind the hymns of global care,
The ledgers told a different prayer:
Profits privatized with ease,
Losses fed to communities.
So rest in pieces, doctrine slick,
No tears, no hymns, no final trick.
You spoke of all, served just a few—
The bill came due. We noticed. You’re through.
(Bilderberg—the original globalist forum—should be a hoot this June….)
“Takeaways from Jack Smith’s Testimony on Trump Investigations” (NYTs)
Here’s mine:
Smith strongly implied that his non-partisanship keeps him honest.
Wrong question.
The issue isn’t whether Smith is a registered Democrat or Republican. It’s whether he was acting on behalf of Insider Washington—what some still quaintly call the Deep State—when using lawfare in a failed attempt to prevent Donald Trump’s election in 2024.
Smith was just one instrument in a crowded toolbox. All failed. And their overuse—combined with a lame opponent—riled enough voters to put Trump back in the driver’s seat.
“Peter Navarro, who was jailed under Biden, shows no mercy for Bill and Hillary Clinton facing similar contempt of Congress allegations” (NY Post)
Navarro (and Steve Bannon) went to prison for the same crime Bubba & Hil are now committing.
Let’s hope there’s no double-standard: If you ignore a congressional subpoena, you do time.

“As Putin’s Allies are Threatened, he Meets the Moment with Silence” (Moscow Times)
Putin has nothing to say.
There’s a word for this: chagrined.
Add devastated, now that the bluster is over and no division between the U.S. and Europe/NATO.
Putin’s invasion of Ukraine strengthened NATO, turned Ukraine toward Europe with a vengeance, and led to an American president who is better equipped than he at expanding reach (think Iran, Maduro, and Greenland).
“Zelensky: Europe likes to talk not act” (The Telegraph)
That, in a nutshell, explains Trump’s blunt approach to NATO—demanding Europe pay its share, pressuring allies to move from rhetoric to resources, and viewing Greenland not as a place to sterilize native females but as an early-warning shield in a deteriorating security environment.
“Vitamin D protects you from flu, Oxford scientists find” (The Telegraph)
How quaint.
Vitamin D is exactly the supplement the truly knowledgeable recommended (not vaccines) to protect against Covid.
There were no flu deaths in 2020-23. Everyone who died from flu had “Covid-19” stamped on their death certificates—a tactic for inflating “Covid deaths” to scare everyone into compliance with lunatic lockdowns and faulty vaccines.

“Beckham v Peltz Beckham: Could Brooklyn torpedo the family brand?” (BBC)
Brooklyn is the son of David & Victoria Beckham.
He wrote on social media: "My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else Brand Beckham comes first. Family 'love' is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it's at the expense of our professional obligations."
So much for Brand Beckham. (Flush.)
What a week—whew!
And you should too.
