Thank you, Rich. As I told my two grandsons (five years old at the time) when I took them to visit our devastated house and yard on 9 Feb 2018, exactly one month after the mudslide: There are three lessons to be learned: 1) Mother Nature is a bitch; 2) Gratitude, for living through it; 3) You pick yourself up, wipe off the dust, and start over, bigger and better than before.
I was so impressed by how positive you remained after having your house destroyed by a mudslide. It reminded me of the older people I knew growing up and how they handled things, compared to today's "oh great! I'm a victim at last!" mentality.
